Our journey together

How our story began
Our relationship truly began at the end of 2016, leading to our first in-person meeting in early 2017. For a while, our connection was long-distance as John was stationed with the CAF across the country. In late 2018, we celebrated a big step forward by moving into our first apartment together while Cassy finished college.
The end of 2019 brought an exciting surprise: we found out we were expecting and immediately started looking for a family home. We soon found our perfect place, only to discover we were expecting not one, but two bundles of joy! In June 2020, Cassy graduated college, and our precious twin girls entered the world. After a whirlwind year of raising twins, John proposed to Cassy on June 21, 2021, in Algonquin Park, on one of our family's favourite trails. She, of course, said yes!
Since then, life has blossomed. Our girls have grown into lovely young ladies, and we welcomed one more lovely little lady in early 2025. With our family complete, we decided it was time to get the ball rolling on our wedding.
Special memories
Among our many cherished moments, two truly define our relationship. First, moving in together marked the joyous end of our long-distance relationship, finally bringing us under one roof. It was a significant milestone that solidified our commitment.
Second, the births of our beautiful children were transformative experiences that deepened our love and commitment to each other, creating our wonderful family. These moments are etched in our hearts and represent the foundation of our life together.
Our exciting future
After the wedding, we are most excited about continuing to raise our children and seeing where life takes us as a family. We look forward to all the adventures, challenges, and joys that lie ahead, building a lifetime of memories together. Our journey has just begun, and we can't wait to share it with you.
